Hamilton construction contracted Team Mixing Technologies to provide a dry-mix concrete batch plant near Skagway in Alaska’s beautiful panhandle.

The plant, designed to be moved in two 45′ truckloads, includes a 40 ton cement silo and dust collector, and drive through silo legset. The silo includes a pre-mounted cement weigh hopper.

The aggregate section incorporates an 8 cubic yard weigh hopper and frame, which will be fed by front-end loader. A 24″ conveyor feeds aggregate to the integral gob hopper for mixer truck loading. This section also includes an air compressor, control system/motor control center, and water meter and piping. Both weigh hoppers use full load cells and the control system is manual with automatic metered water.
